Can you tell just how elated I am about this post today? 😀
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Greater City of Pittsburgh, it is with great pleasure to announce that the first ever Primal Move Instructor Workshop is coming to the city in March! If you thought it couldn’t get any better than that, I am beyond honored to announce that Primal Move National Instructor, Adrienne Harvey, will be leading this instructor tutorial! Pittsburgh has not had a certification of this kind hit the city. In fact, I believe the very last certification sponsored by Dragon Door was my very own HKC in September, 2012 with Brett Jones. That’ being said, I wanted to give you all detailed information on the nature of this workshop, who this workshop is best suited for, as well what you can expect from the instructor herself!
Pittsburgh, get ready to MOVE!
The Primal Move Instructor Workshop will teach you skill sets in order to enhance your overall movement, strength as well as the movement and strength of your clients. Those skill sets are detailed on Dragondoor.com and are as follows:
• Primal Move Basic Drills-fundamental movement patterns and how to enhance the fluidity of basic human movements.
• Primal Flow Assessment- How to assess compromised movements in your clients.
• Primal Social Plays- Game related activity to make exercise modalities interactive and playful.
• Concepts- methodology and philosophy behind the system
• Teaching the movements and creating forms- applying primal move fundamentals to enhance movement of your clients.
• Program planning- creating progression/regression plans
If you take a look at the descriptions I have listed above, you should note that this workshop is catered to personal trainers who already are actively working with clients and who wish to learn the mobility secrets for added personal strength gains. That being said, a certificate of participation WILL be awarded should you choose to do this certification for educational purposes only . However, I am highly recommending that anyone who is interested in this course should come to the certification with the intent of becoming a Primal Move Fundamentals Instructor. There are tests you must complete within a certain frame of time after completing the instructor candidacy workshop, however, no prior experience is required to attend this workshop. Let’s talk about Adrienne Harvey now, shall we ? 😉
Adrienne Harvey is a Level II Russian Kettlebell Instructor and Primal Move National Instructor. She is also is a team leader for the Progressive Calisthenic Workshops and holds a Kettlebell Functional Movement certification through the CK-FMS program. Adrienne is one of the main contributors of Dragondoor.com and has been featured in fitness manuals such as “Neuro Mass” and “Pushing the Limits.” She is the owner of giryagirl.com. I have worked alongside Adrienne in my past and had the great opportunity to have had Adrienne lead my own Primal Move Workshop in GA back in October. Speaking from personal experience, Adrienne is one of the best and most well-rounded instructors you can possible work with. Her attention to detail and passion for versatile fitness training truly set her apart as an instructor. Seriously everyone, this workshop is going to be a once in a lifetime event given the nature of the course and the background of the instructor. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!
Registration is now open for Primal Move Pittsburgh. The workshop is set for March 16th from 9:00 am to 6:00 p.m and will be held at Pittsburgh Kettlebells, Sewickley PA. Please secure your spot today ! If you have any further questions about this instructor workshop, please visit this link or contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
