This time of year is all about gift giving and making new years resolutions. With that in mind, why not combine the gift and the resolution into one this year? If you’re ready to kick start your health and unleash your inner strength, look no further than kettlebells this season!
I receive a lot of inquiries about which kettlebells I use and why I use them. I only use kettlebells that are manufacutred by Dragon Door, and for a very good reason. Dragon Door is the leader in making military grade kettlebells that last a lifetime. The kettlebells made by Dragon Door are coated with a rust resistant coating that prevents the usual wear you might see from other brands of kettlebells. I often tell clients and prospects that you would literally have to drop a nuclear bomb on these kettlebells to cause them harm, and even then, they may not have a scratch on them 😉 The kettlebell itself also has a smooth texture to it so it will not over grip the hand. Grip training is a really huge issue when it comes to more advanced lifting routines such as clean and jerks, snatches, etc. You don’t want a kettlenell that “sticks” to your hand, as it can tear your hand in a not-so-fun way. Plus, grip strength carries over to maximizing your lifts in general. Want to get a new personal record? Make sure you have adequate grip of the kettlebell.
If you are ready to begin your kettlebell training, look no further than Dragon Door for all your kettlebell needs. As a general rule, I recommend beginners to start on the lower end of the weight spectrum. Women should have no issue starting at a 10kg or a 12kg kettlebell. Men should comfortable start with a 16kg or 18kg to start off with as well. If you have any more specific questions on which kettlebells to start off with or how to use them properly, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would be more than happy to discuss your training routine with you! Give your body the gift of health this year and unleash your inner strength with kettlebells form Dragon Door!
