Happy Monday to yinz! I really hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are ready to kick start your health this week! Today, I wanted to share a super awesome smoothie recipe that will fuel you up for the day. I have been experimenting more in the kitchen lately with my own smoothie recipes and over the weekend, I came up with a fall recipe that combines two of my favorite health products. First, let me address these two products by name and discuss why I love them so much!
Product Number 1: Beyond Organic Amasai. Amasai is a cultured dairy beverage that is loaded with over 30 probiotic strains. It is fermented from whole milk from grass fed cows form the Beyond Organic Ranch (which, just so happens to be the largest ranch that maintains the highest quality control for it’s cattle I have ever seen. In case you think I’m jerking your chain, watch this). Amasai is also a whole milk beverage, loaded with fat soluble vitamin D. Want to boost your immune system and strengthen your bones? Amasai is for you!
Product Number 2: Dales Raw protein powder. Ok, time for a confession here. I no longer use whey protein powders. While I previously used raw whey protein powders without a problem, I actually preferred the taste of Dale’s Raw protein over any other protein I have ever used. Not only does it taste amazing, it is packed with protein and essential amino acids that help with muscle repair and overall recovery. There are no fillers, no artificial sweeteners, and just not junk in this stuff. This protein powder also has the added bonus of making you feel invigorated after a hard workout. I am not making this up! Try it for yourself by visiting this link: Dale’s Raw Protein Powder.
Ok, now let’s get to the part you all are waiting for. THE RECIPE! Take a look below for my Green Apple Smoothie!
Green Apple Smoothie
1 granny smith apple (diced small)
1 scoop Dale’s Raw Protein Powder (I use the chocolate flavor)
1-2 tsp cinnamon to taste
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smoothie. Please be aware that apples can add a chunky texture if they are not diced small enough. You may also use a food processor if needed to get the apples to the correct consistency and then add it to the blender so it blends more smoothly. Once it’s all blended, drink up and enjoy.
One word of caution on this smoothie. It is good. It is INSANELY GOOD! In fact you may find yourself gulping this down at record speed! That being said, be sure to stock up on Beyond Organic’s Amasai and Dale’s Raw Protein Powder .
You’ll thank me for that later! Believe me! 😉
That’s it for today everyone! Remember to eat smart, train hard, and enjoy most your life!
